beIN SPORTS Africa and the Middle East – English version. Videos and live streams of your favorite sports. TV programs schedule.
beIN SPORTS en Español is a Spanish-language, pay-TV channel in the United States dedicated to sports. It is owned by beIN Media Group and was launched in August 2012 along with its English-language sister network beIN Sports USA.
After soccer-themed network GolTV lost the Spanish La Liga rights in the U.S., beIN Sports was quick to stamp its authority in the U.S. market, eventually becoming the fastest growing international sports network in the country. Since its launch in 2012, it has been extending its viewership through deals with cable, satellite, IPTV and OTT providers across the country.
Live events on beIN SPORTS en Español—in addition to soccer—include major competitions from the worlds of handball, motorsport, rugby, tennis, volleyball and more. The channel complements its live, premiered and repeat broadcasts of such events with exclusive programs it produces, such as documentaries, magazine shows, game previews, reports and analysis, as well as highlights.
Though it was arguably La Liga that made its portfolio of soccer broadcast rights stand out in USA, beIN SPORTS en Español has actually aired various other major European leagues and domestic cups. Notable competitions from the past include the English Championship, English League Cup, French Ligue 1 and French Cup, Italian Serie A and Coppa Italia, and even the Spanish Copa del Rey. Continental club tournaments such as the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana have also received considerable airtime over the years.
Just like the flagship beIN Sports USA channel, which is aimed at English speakers, beIN SPORTS en Español has inherited broadcast rights to international soccer events such as the Africa Cup of Nations, Copa America and FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. This has also been the case for youth soccer tournaments, including the Toulon Tournament and Sudamericano Sub-20.
