A new WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on March 31 and the company announced this Friday the first nominee, Rey Mysterio. This announcement was completely unexpected for the fans and immediately began to talk about the great career of Mysterio and who could be the person in charge of introducing him to the WWE Hall of Fame.
As reported by Dave Meltzer through his Twitter account, Konnan will be the person who will introduce Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31. Meltzer comments that Rey expressly requested it and WWE accepted. The Los Angeles Times has also reported this news.
